Carla and David are from Miami, but her family is Costa Rican. So naturally, Costa Rica was the ideal place to celebrate their marriage.
I met Carla a few months prior to the wedding for a trial session and was immediately struck by her incredibly sweet and gentle spirit. I love that this came through in these beautiful photos by White Diamond.
On the wedding day, Carla was super calm. I asked if she was nervous, excited, etc. She said “No, I’m pretty relaxed.” And she was! As we sat down to start her make-up, someone suggested putting on some music. They put on a slow, romantic Spanish ballad. Within 3 notes of the song, tears started rolling down Carla’s cheeks as well as laughter from her and all of us in the room. She said “Oh my gosh, something less sentimental!” It was so funny and so cute – and I love that White Diamond caught the moment!
